Chris has been pastoring since August 1996 fulfilling the pastoral call God placed on his
life. That original call of ministry also included a call to evangelism which is another part of ministry he finds great joy in. He received a B.A. in Applied Ministry from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1995 and completed his Master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2018. Before coming to Aubrey, he served on staff as Youth Minister at Rock Creek Baptist Church (Shawnee,OK; 1993-1995). Chris married his wife, Heather, in December 1992 and 8 years later they were blessed with the birth & adoption of their twins, Jeremiah and Quincy. Heather Walden
Minister of Early Childhood
Heather is the Early Childhood Minister and Educational coordinator at First Rock Fellowship. Before joining the ministerial staff in January 2009, she served 13 years as Ministry Assistant, along with various lay leadership positions in the Children and Educational ministries. Following high school, she spent a summer as a student missionary ministering to children through drama, clowning, and leading worship. God used this experience to lead her to recognize the calling He had placed on her to follow His guidance in vocational ministry. Heather received a BAS in Christian Ministry with a concentration in Educational Ministry from Dallas Baptist University. She married Chris in 1992 and in 2001 God blessed them with their two children, Jeremiah and Quincy. She finds her purpose in being a wife, mom, and serving the children and families at First Rock Fellowship. Outside of church, Heather spends her time managing her household and juggling her kids’ homeschooling and activities. Contact Heather Walden.
Joseph Orsak Youth Minister

Jesus called Joseph to the position of Youth Minister at First Rock Fellowship in May of 2018. Before coming onto full time staff here at First Rock Fellowship Joseph was part of a mens home ministry called the Denton Freedom House where he served in multiple areas of the ministry for close to 7 years this was also the ministry he attended during his years of addiction. “I was set free from the power of addiction and Sin in my life almost 9 years ago. I credit my entire life to Jesus who is the rebuilder of the broken. If it was not for the Lord I would not have the family I do or the opportunities I have to serve here at FRF. Jesus is King”
Diane Calhoun
Ministry Assistant

In September of 1999, Diane retired from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) with 31 years of government service. While with FEMA, she was a Team Lead for New Mexico and Texas and responsible for community coordination, congressional activities, floodplain management, and disaster response and recovery. Since retirement from FEMA, Diane has worked in the private sector as a Project Manager and Consultant for 14 years. She joined the staff in May 2013 as the first Ministry Assistant for First Rock Fellowship. She has been married to her husband,Barry, for 24 years. She enjoys family, good friends,
